Moong Dal Tomato Toast

Ingredients:
• 8 bread slices
• 2 tbsp butter


For filling
• 1 cup tomato puree
• 1 cup moong dal (boiled and mashed)
• 2 chopped onions
• 1 tbsp red chilli powder
• 1 tbsp butter
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Salt to taste


Method:
• Fry onion in a pan with ghee.
• Add all remaining ingredients till it gets a paste-like consistency.
• Keep aside to cool.
• Toast two bread slices in a pan with butter on it.
• Make a sandwich spread by adding moong dal paste.
• Serve with tomato sauce.
