सामग्री:
- 3/4 कप मसूर दाल
- 3/4 कप प्याज़ (कटा हुआ)
- 2 टीस्पून अदरक-लहसुन का पेस्ट
- आधा कप टमाटर (कटा हुआ)
- 1-1 टीस्पून लाल मिर्च पाउडर, गोडा मसाला, स़फेद तिल और धनिया पाउडर
- आधा टीस्पून जीरा
- 1/4 टीस्पून हल्दी पाउडर
- 3 टीस्पून नारियल (कद्दूकस किया हुआ)
- 4 टीस्पून तेल
- थोड़ा-सा हरा धनिया (बारीक़ कटा हुआ)
- आधे नींबू का रस
- नमक स्वादानुसार

विधि:
- कुकर में मसूर दाल और ढाई कप पानी डालकर 4 सीटी आने तक पकाएं.
- गरम तवे पर तिल और नारियल डालकर भून लें और अलग रखें.
- पैन में 1 टीस्पून तेल गरम करके जीरा का छौंक लगाएं.
- प्याज़ डालकर सुनहरा होने तक भून लें.
- आंच से उतारकर ठंडा होने दें.
- मिक्सर में प्याज़, नारियल-तिल वाला मिश्रण मिलाकर पीस लें.
- कड़ाही में बचा हुआ तेल गरम करके अदरक-लहसुन का पेस्ट डालकर भून लें.
- टमाटर डालकर भून लें.
- सारे पाउडर मसाले, पिसा हुआ मसाला पेस्ट डालकर कड़ाही के तेल छोड़ने तक भून लें.
- पकी हुई दाल, नमक और आवश्यकतानुसार पानी मिलाकर 1 उबाल आने तक पकाएं.
- हरा धनिया और नींबू का रस मिलाकर गरम-गरम सर्व करें.
