INGREDIENTS
2 cups wholewheat flour, ¾ cup bottle gourd (doodhi), ½ cup low fat curds , ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp oil, salt to taste
METHOD
• Mix all the ingredients and knead into soft dough using water only if required.
• Divide the dough into 15 equal portions.
• Roll out each portion thinly into a circle of 125 mm (5”) diameter.
• Cook each thepla on both the sides on a non-stick pan until golden brown on the surface.
• Serve hot with garlic chutney.
