Medical Director and Infertility Specialist, Dr Durga Rao is a practising gynaecologist at Oasis Fertility Centre, Hyderabad. Dr Rao’s forte lies in reproductive medicine and minimal invasive surgery. With an overall experience of 26 years, she is a leading voice in the fertility industry.
After completing her MBBS from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh, she secured a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) from the University of Health Sciences and further pursued her Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology from McGil University, Canada. She was the pioneer in research and practice of In vitro Maturation treatment and Fertility Preservation in the prestigious McGill University. Dr Rao also underwent her professional training in the UK. Dr Rao has several papers and publications to her credit. She has conducted and attended several conferences across the world and also presented her research findings in several hospitals. She returned to India, with an aim to bring the knowledge of modern treatments in reproductive medicine, which she had acquired abroad.
