Ingredients
5-6 nos. chicken legs, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 8 cups water, 2 nos. bay leaf, 2 nos. green cardamom, ½ tsp crushed black pepper, 7-8 nos. almond, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp cooking oil, 2 tsp salt
Method
• Boil chicken legs and drain.
• In a heavy-bottomed vessel, heat oil, add whole spices and let them crackle.
• Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden.
• Add chicken legs, sauté for further 2 minutes.
• Add water, let it boil for at least 30 minutes.
• Strain, adjust seasoning and garnish with almond slivers.
