Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker is a practising Bariatric and Advanced LaparoscopicSurgeon at Mumbai. With an overall experience of 14 years,she is one of the first surgeons in India to be accredited in 2011 by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Centre for Excellence (COE) surgeon.
Dr Bhasker did her postgraduation in General Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, Gujarat. Later,shepursued a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery in Mumbai. She also has a keen interest in clinical research and has completed a diploma on Principles and Practice of Clinical Research from the Harvard Medical School.
Dr Bhasker has performed many live surgeries at conferences and training programs at national level.
She has authored chapters in many text books of surgery and has published many papers in peer reviewed journals.
An avid reader, blogger and an artist, Dr Bhasker also runs a charitable foundation called Debabrata Auro Foundation in Mumbai (www.daf.foundation).
